HELPING POOR CHILDREN IN EDUCATION
A Village Library
Every time a book is opened, something new is learned – perhaps we learn about numbers and letters, or colours and shapes, or even about poetry and songs. Books are, quite simply, windows to the world! A library is a place to read, to enjoy and to celebrate books.
However, many families in rural villages across the world are struggling to feed and clothe their children, and do not have the ability to send them to attend school.
Thus, children living in poverty are disadvantaged when it comes to public school education. Most poor families in rural environments require their school-age children to go off to work in the fields in order to survive.
Humanitarian Affairs intends to make a difference by making books available to poor children in rural villages across the world.
Help change the lives of these poor children and help them break the cycle of Poverty; education and knowledge based upon book learning is their only HOPE.
You do not have to be a teacher to help a child learn. You can initiate a Village Library in any country you wish. Help by providing the availability of BOOKS to village children.
We do all the ground work for you. All you need do is to attend and officiate at the Grand Opening of your Village Library. Do it for the children.
Humanitarian Affairs intends to start its first village library in Cambodia. Please help us to made this possible by contributing to the set-up cost.
