LOBAL LEADERS CAMP 2008

Humanitarian Affairs Global Leaders Camp (GLC) is regional network of youth leaders working to educate and mobilize their peers in efforts to end global poverty. Each year, Humanitarian Affairs selects a diverse group of passionate and committed youths to become GLC Leaders. Following an intensive training camp, GLC Leaders network with each other and receive tools, resources and support. Turning their learning into action, GLC Leaders implement a series of Relief Efforts to poverty-stricken countries.

How does Humanitarian Affairs Train Its Leaders ?

Each year, Humanitarian Affairs trains its Leaders in their Annual Global Leaders Camp. The GLC Training includes: Substantive Learning about the root causes of poverty and the promise of sustainable development. Skill-Development in leadership, fundraising, action planning and campaigning.

Global Leaders Camp

Each year, Humanitarian Affairs select a group of Youth Leaders to attend its Annual Global Leaders Camp. The Camp gives Leaders the opportunity to meet like-minded youths from all over the world to interact with experts in the field, and develop their skills to make poverty history.

Who Should Apply ?

Humanitarian Affairs welcomes youths between the ages of 15 and 25, for its 5-day intensive Global Youth Leadership Program. This 5-day training program will be scheduled from March 10 to 14, 2008 in Malaysia.

Criteria for Selection

Applicants must first participate in a rigorous screening process, in which they are evaluated for their social and intellectual maturity, strength of goals, and leadership qualities.

The Program will be conducted in English. You must be currently studying in a recognised school before you can apply for this Leadership Program.

The Application process for Selection into the Global Leadership Program 2008 is now opened to eligible candidates.

Registration Fee

The Program fee for Successful Applicants is USD$380 which includes 4 nights accomodation, 3 meals per day & training materials.

Certificate

On Completion of the 5-day Leadership Program, all participants will receive a Certificate of Leadership Recognition.
