Volunteering in Asia
Volunteer work is a unique way for you to do incredible things in a developing country and experience its culture in its purest form. You will have the opportunity to learn and become familiar with the ethos and history of varied cultures while familiarising yourself with the customs and lifestyle of the natives.

As the world’s most populous continent, there is a dire need for volunteers in Asia who can contribute in notable ways by making a difference to a majority of the poverty stricken countries. Volunteering in Asia will prove to be a reciprocal process that benefits both you and those whose lives you will touch, whether children or communities in need. Invariably, you will learn many valuable and insightful lessons along the way.

As a volunteer, besides becoming a contributing member of the circle of youth volunteer organisations which will value your efforts, you will also become a productive part of the global community.

WHY we encourage it
Humanitarian Affairs serves as an all-encompassing umbrella for NGOs in the Asia Pacific region. The organisation will tie you to worthy projects, with the sole intention of connecting young people with communities in need. Asia is filled with the chance of doing notable volunteer work with a requirement for a wide assortment of help and care. You can work in a multitude of Asian countries such as Cambodia, India, and Nepal by generating social value for the community, for the organisation and for yourself.

WHO can participate
If you have an idea you would like to put in motion, we will guide you through the process and help you implement it for a community or cause of your choice. Humanitarian Affairs has a close relationship with regional governments and NGOs of countless countries in Asia and thus can serve as a link to meet both needs - your desire to make a difference and a country or community’s desire for help.

The organisation also serves as a helping hand when individuals would like to connect with communities in need through reach out activities. These initiatives could include collecting clothing or donation, painting schools or teaching children. Individuals who are keen for such an eye opening opportunity will only be charged with a nominal placement fee of USD 77.00 for this first hand prospect, a fee solely for successful applicants covering administration and operative costs.

Schools and Universities are welcome to contact us if they would like to make their students take part in a rewarding experiential journey. Humanitarian Affairs will organise an itinerary to suit the needs of each institute. This program will be open to those of ages 16 and above and will be in operation for a period of 7 to 28 days according to the requirements of participants.

So get behind the scenes and learn for yourself - experience a life of action and inspired adventure!
